Premium borosilicate 3.3 glass with interchangeable ground joints delivers high thermal shock resistance, hydrolytic resistance, and full chemical inertness. The set includes the extractor body, Allihn condenser, and boiling flask for efficient reflux cycling. This autoclavable lab glass delivers reliable performance in repeated extraction runs.
HISTORY :
Franz von Soxhlet introduced the Soxhlet extractor in 1879 to automate continuous solvent extraction for fat analysis. Earlier manual methods were slow and inconsistent. Borosilicate glass later solved cracking problems under heat, making complete Soxhlet apparatus a standard tool in analytical laboratories worldwide.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:
GWSI melts high-purity borosilicate 3.3 glass and shapes components via master hand-blowing or automated molding. Precision forming creates the extractor body, Allihn condenser bulbs, and interchangeable ground joints, followed by annealing to relieve thermal stress.
TESTING PROCESS:
Quality begins with manual inspection followed by polarization stress testing to ensure zero residual stress. High-precision verification follows I.S.O. and DIN standards using manual or automatic testing machines. Each apparatus undergoes rigorous checks for joint fit, siphon action, and thermal performance.
PRINTING PROCESS:
GWSI applies permanent markings through precision screening with Glass Enamels (Ceramic Inks). These are baked in high-temperature kilns to permanently fuse the scale into the glass matrix, so it never fades.
PACKAGING PROCESS:
Final cosmetic sorting removes any blemishes. Each apparatus goes into heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap for safe export.
