OVERVIEW :
The GWSI 25 ml Class A serological pipette is a certified, graduated-to-the-jet pipette for QC takes at 0.2 ml steps. Premium borosilicate 3.3 glass gives high thermal shock resistance, hydrolytic resistance, and chemical inertness on a long 25 ml stem. DIN ISO 835 / ASTM E1044 Class A tolerance is ±0.1 ml — half the Class B glassware table. Calibrated to deliver (TD) at 20 °C; blow out the last drop. Each piece ships with a certificate; NABL gravimetric calibration on request. This is Class A volumetric glassware in serological form. Interchangeable ground joints stay on flasks.
HISTORY :
Class B serological taught the blow-out method. Assay labs then needed the same to-the-tip geometry with a tighter error and a signed record. ISO 835 Class A and a works or NABL certificate turned the 25 ml white-band pipette into an auditable tool. GWSI Glass Lab still draws, serializes, and certifies that 25 ml pipette in Ambala as autoclavable lab glass.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS :
We melt high-purity borosilicate 3.3 and draw a 25 ml stem, mouthpiece tooled for a filler, jet timed to the Class A delivery window. The blank anneals on full-length supports, so the long tube stays straight. After print, the pipette is serialized so the certificate can name that piece, not only the carton.
TESTING PROCESS :
First inspection is manual: jet, 0.2 ml scale, rings, white band, straightness, and serial. A polarization stress test on the polariscope follows. Delivery is then weighed to I.S.O. DIN (ISO 835 Class A) / ASTM E1044 — TD at 20 °C, last drop blown out, ±0.1 ml. NABL gravimetric calibration produces the certificate that ships in the box; batch or individual, as ordered.
PRINTING PROCESS :
The 0.2 ml scale, blow-out rings, Class A / TD / 20 °C, serial, white code, and GWSI name are precision silk-screened with glass enamels (ceramic inks). Kiln heat drives ceramic glass fusing, so the scale and serial stay readable for the life of the certificate.
PACKAGING PROCESS :
Cosmetic sorting pulls seeds, bent stems, and any jet that would fail Class A time. Pass pipettes pack in heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap, tip guards, and the printed certificate in a sleeve, for export from the Science City.
MAINTENANCE & SAFETY :
– Never mouth-pipette — use a filler that can lift 25 ml
– File the certificate by serial; do not mix uncertified Class B into the same qualified set
– Blow out the last drop; Class A serological is still a blow-out pipette
– Read at eye level; interval is 0.2 ml; work near 20 °C
– Recalibrate on your NABL / SOP interval, or after a drop or chip
– Wash in a 25 ml-length washer; no grit in the jet
– Autoclave this autoclavable lab glass at 121 °C only if the SOP allows; recheck volume after thermal abuse
– Store full-length in a deep rack; a hanging jet will void the certificate in one knock
– Retire any pipette with a chipped jet, worn serial, or expired cal
