OVERVIEW:

The GWSI 2 ml Class A serological pipette is a certified green-band pipette for 0.02 ml steps you can defend in an audit. Premium borosilicate 3.3 glass gives high thermal shock resistance, hydrolytic resistance, and chemical inertness in a short 2 ml stem. DIN ISO 835 / ASTM E1044 Class A tolerance is ±0.010 ml — half the Class B glassware ±0.020 ml table. Calibrated to deliver (TD) at 20 °C; blow out the last drop. Certificate ships with the piece; NABL gravimetric calibration on request. This is Class A volumetric glassware in serological form. Interchangeable ground joints stay on flasks.

 HISTORY:

Small standard takes used to sit on a 2 ml Class B serological with no paper, or on a one-mark pipette that could not stop at 0.64 ml. Assay groups wanted 0.02 ml resolution, Class A error, and a serial an auditor could match. GWSI Glass Lab still draws and certifies that 2 ml green-band in Ambala as autoclavable lab glass.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

We melt high-purity borosilicate 3.3 and draw a 2 ml bore sized so a 0.02 ml line stays sharp. The jet is selected for the Class A delivery window at this volume. After the lehr anneal, scale, blow-out rings, green code, and serial are applied; only pipettes that will weigh inside ±0.010 ml keep a certificate number.

TESTING PROCESS:

Manual inspection comes first: jet, 0.02 ml registration, rings, green band, and serial. A polarization stress test on the polariscope follows. Delivery is then weighed to I.S.O. DIN (ISO 835 Class A) / ASTM E1044 — TD at 20 °C, last drop blown out, ±0.010 ml. NABL gravimetric calibration writes the batch or individual certificate in the box.

PRINTING PROCESS:

The 0.02 ml scale, Class A / TD / 20 °C, serial, green code, and GWSI name are precision screened with glass enamels (ceramic inks). Kiln heat drives ceramic glass fusing, so the fine scale and serial outlast the paper certificate.

PACKAGING PROCESS:

A cosmetic sort rejects seeds, crowded 0.02 ml lines, and jets outside Class A time. Pass pipettes pack in heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap, tip guards, and the printed certificate, for export from the Science City.

MAINTENANCE & SAFETY:

– Never mouth-pipette — use a filler even at 2 ml
– Match stem serial to the certificate before first use
– Blow out the last drop; Class A serological is still blow-out
– Read at eye level; interval is 0.02 ml; work near 20 °C
– Do not put uncertified Class B 2 ml pipettes into a qualified set
– Recalibrate on your NABL / SOP interval, or after a drop
– Wash in a pipette washer; grit in a 2 ml jet ruins Class A
– Autoclave this autoclavable lab glass at 121 °C only if the SOP allows; recheck volume after heat
– Store in a rack, green band and serial visible, tips guarded
