OVERVIEW:
GWSI Glass Lab manufactures this 100 ml hexagonal measuring cylinder from premium borosilicate 3.3 glass with Class B volumetric accuracy. DIN, NABL calibrated for consistent performance.

HISTORY:
Compact hexagonal-base measuring cylinders with Class B tolerances were developed for routine analytical and educational labs needing reliable small-volume measurement without tighter tolerances. The hexagonal base prevents tipping. GWSI modernizes this format with borosilicate 3.3 durability, ceramic glass fusing for markings, and autoclavable lab glass reliability.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:
We melt high-purity borosilicate 3.3, shape the 100 ml cylinder with a hexagonal base through master hand-blowing or automated molding, apply ceramic glass fusing to markings, and complete controlled annealing to fully eliminate thermal stress.

TESTING PROCESS:
Every cylinder receives manual polariscope stress testing for zero residual stress, followed by high-precision ISO, DIN standard verification — manual or automatic testing machine — and NABL gravimetric calibration for Class B volumetric accuracy.

PRINTING PROCESS:
Graduations and markings are applied by precision screening with ceramic glass enamels, baked in high-temperature kilns to permanently fuse the scale into the borosilicate 3.3 matrix so it never fades.

PACKAGING PROCESS
We perform cosmetic sorting to filter out any blemishes, confirm hexagonal base stability, and pack in heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap for safe export from Ambala, the Science City.

MAINTENANCE & SAFETY:
* Autoclavable lab glass: sterilize at 121 °C before reuse.
* Clean with non-abrasive detergents; avoid impact to the hexagonal base and glass walls.
* Confirm hydrolytic resistance before measuring acidic or alkaline microsamples.
* Store upright in a stable rack away from direct heat sources.
* Inspect for polarization stress before high-thermal-shock cycles.
