OVERVIEW:
GWSI Glass Lab manufactures Friedrichs condensers from premium borosilicate 3.3 glass with a spiral inner tube for efficient reflux and condensation. Built for thermal and chemical durability, they deliver high thermal shock resistance, full chemical inertness, and hydrolytic resistance. Every condenser is I.S.O. DIN, NABL calibrated for consistent analytical performance.

HISTORY :
The Friedrichs condenser was developed in the late 19th century by German chemist Fritz Friedrichs to improve reflux efficiency through an internal spiral cooling path that maximizes surface contact. GWSI modernizes this classic design with borosilicate 3.3 durability, ceramic glass fusing, interchangeable ground joints, and autoclavable lab glass reliability.

APPLICATIONS:
* Pharmaceutical reflux and distillation processes
* Biotech and analytical chemistry laboratories
* School, college, university, and educational institutes
* Industrial quality control and research labs
* Reflux studies requiring efficient condensation

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:
We melt high-purity borosilicate 3.3, form the condenser tube and spiral inner tube through master hand-blowing or automated molding, apply ceramic glass fusing to interchangeable ground joints, and complete controlled annealing to fully eliminate thermal stress.

TESTING PROCESS:
Every condenser receives manual polariscope stress testing for zero residual stress, followed by high-precision ISO, DIN standard verification — manual or automatic testing machine — and NABL gravimetric calibration where applicable.

PRINTING PROCESS :
Graduations and markings are applied by precision screening with ceramic glass enamels, baked in high-temperature kilns to permanently fuse the scale into the borosilicate 3.3 matrix so it never fades.

PACKAGING PROCESS :
We perform cosmetic sorting to filter out any blemishes, pair the condenser securely with its joints, and pack in heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap for safe export from Ambala, the Science City.

MAINTENANCE & SAFETY :
* Autoclavable lab glass: sterilize at 121 °C with joints fully open.
* Clean with non-abrasive detergents; protect interchangeable ground joints and glass surfaces from chips.
* Confirm hydrolytic resistance before prolonged use with acidic or basic vapors.
* Store vertically in a stable rack away from direct heat sources.
* Inspect for polarization stress before high-thermal-shock cycles.
