OVERVIEW :
GWSI Glass Lab produces this automatic straight bore burette with a glass key and Class B volumetric accuracy from premium borosilicate 3.3 glass. It delivers high thermal shock resistance, full chemical inertness, and hydrolytic resistance for rapid dispensing in routine labs. Every unit is I.S.O. DIN, NABL calibrated for consistent performance.
HISTORY :
Automatic straight bore burettes with glass keys evolved from traditional manual designs in the mid-20th century, simplifying flow control for faster, repeatable dispensing without complex mechanisms. GWSI modernizes this practical format with borosilicate 3.3 durability, ceramic glass fusing, interchangeable ground joints, and autoclavable lab glass reliability.
APPLICATIONS :
* Pharmaceutical and biotech routine titration
* School, college, university, and educational institutes
* Industrial quality control and analytical labs
* Research labs using Class B volumetric glassware
* Rapid dispensing in standard analyses
MANUFACTURING PROCESS :
We melt high-purity borosilicate 3.3, form the straight bore tube via master hand-blowing or automated molding, apply ceramic glass fusing to interchangeable ground joints, and complete controlled annealing to fully eliminate thermal stress.
TESTING PROCESS :
Every burette receives manual polariscope stress testing for zero residual stress, followed by high-precision ISO, DIN standard checks — manual or automatic testing machine — and NABL gravimetric calibration for Class B volumetric accuracy.
PRINTING PROCESS :
Graduations and markings are applied by precision screening with ceramic glass enamels, baked in high-temperature kilns to permanently fuse the scale into the borosilicate 3.3 matrix so it never fades.
PACKAGING PROCESS :
We run cosmetic sorting to filter out blemishes, pair the burette with its glass key securely, and pack in heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap for safe export from Ambala, the Science City.
MAINTENANCE & SAFETY :
* Autoclavable lab glass: sterilize at 121 °C with the glass key fully open.
* Clean with non-abrasive detergents; protect interchangeable ground joints and the glass key from chips.
* Confirm hydrolytic resistance before prolonged acid or alkali titration cycles.
* Store vertically in a stable rack away from direct heat sources.
* Inspect for polarization stress before high-thermal-shock cycles.
