HISTORY :
Automatic burettes with rotaflow mechanisms and PTFE needle valves emerged in the mid-20th century to eliminate manual stopcock adjustments and enable faster, more repeatable titration dispensing. GWSI modernizes this design with borosilicate 3.3 durability, ceramic glass fusing, and autoclavable lab glass reliability for modern analytical workflows.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS :
We melt high-purity borosilicate 3.3, shape the burette tube through master hand-blowing or automated molding, apply ceramic glass fusing to interchangeable ground joints, and complete controlled annealing to fully eliminate thermal stress.
TESTING PROCESS :
Every burette receives manual polariscope stress testing for zero residual stress, followed by high-precision ISO, DIN standard checks — manual or automatic testing machine — and NABL gravimetric calibration for Class A volumetric accuracy.
PRINTING PROCESS :
Graduations and markings are applied through precision screening with ceramic glass enamels, baked in high-temperature kilns to permanently fuse the scale into the borosilicate 3.3 matrix so it never fades.
PACKAGING PROCESS :
We perform cosmetic sorting to filter out any blemishes, assemble the PTFE needle valve securely, and pack in heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap for safe export from Ambala, the Science City.
MAINTENANCE & SAFETY :
* Autoclavable lab glass: sterilize at 121 °C with the PTFE needle valve removed or fully open.
* Clean with non-abrasive detergents; protect interchangeable ground joints and PTFE surfaces from scratches.
* Confirm hydrolytic resistance before prolonged acid or alkali titration cycles.
* Store vertically in a stable rack away from direct heat sources.
* Inspect for polarization stress before high-thermal-shock cycles.
