OVERVIEW:

GWSI Glass Lab (Ambala, Haryana — the Science City) makes this 1000 ml aspirator bottle with a stopcock outlet from premium borosilicate 3.3 glass. It delivers high thermal shock resistance, full chemical inertness, and autoclavable durability for medium-volume aspiration and vacuum work. The stopcock outlet provides controlled draining while the thick-walled body handles pressure and temperature swings safely

HISTORY:

Aspirator bottles with stopcock outlets developed in the early 1900s for labs that needed medium-volume vacuum collection with safe, controlled release. The integrated stopcock prevented spills and vapor exposure. GWSI continues that practical design, crafting 1000 ml borosilicate 3.3 aspirator bottles for modern pharmaceutical and industrial labs.

APPLICATIONS:

– Pharmaceutical medium-volume aspiration and filtration
– Biotech vacuum collection and buffer draining
– Industrial process aspiration and liquid recovery
– School, colleges, university, and educational institutes
– Research labs using controlled aspiration and drainage systems

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

GWSI melts pure borosilicate 3.3, shapes the 1000 ml body and stopcock outlet joint through master hand-blowing or automated molding, applies ceramic glass fusing for joint strength and seal precision, then runs a controlled annealing cycle to fully eliminate thermal stress.

TESTING PROCESS:

First test done by manual inspection of outlet alignment, joint fit, and body soundness, followed by polarization stress test under polariscope light to confirm zero internal stress. Final verification uses I.S.O. DIN standard manual or automatic testing machines with NABL gravimetric calibration for dimensional reference accuracy where applicable.

PRINTING PROCESS:

This permanently fuses labels into the glass matrix, so they survive acids, steam, and frequent cleaning.

PACKAGING PROCESS:

Every bottle passes cosmetic sorting to catch imperfections, bubbles, or joint defects. Approved pieces are packed in heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap for safe export delivery.

MAINTENANCE & SAFETY:

– Clean gently with mild detergent or compatible solvent; rinse thoroughly after aspiration cycles.
– Fully autoclavable for sterile aspiration protocols.
– Store upright in a stable rack; protect stopcock outlet and ground joints with sleeves.
– Inspect outlet and joints before vacuum or pressure use; retire cracked pieces.
– Handle with care; precise joints and outlets are durable but fragile to impact.
