HISTORY :
Cone-to-tubing adapters grew from the standardization of interchangeable ground joints in early 20th-century laboratory glassware. They solved a simple but critical problem: joining rigid glass systems to flexible tubing without leaks, clamps, or custom glass work.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS :

The formed glass is annealed in a controlled furnace to relieve thermal stress and improve durability during repeated heating and cooling.
TESTING PROCESS :
Each adapter is checked through a polarization stress test using a Polariscope to confirm zero residual stress and stable glass performance.
PACKAGING PROCESS :
Finished adapters are cosmetically sorted to remove pieces with blemishes, uneven cones, chipped rims, or weak tubing stems. Each unit is packed in heavy-duty double-wall boxes with shock-absorbing bubble wrap for safe export handling.
MAINTENANCE & SAFETY :
* Clean with neutral lab detergent, rinse with purified water, and dry before attaching rubber tubing.
* Autoclave with open ends only; never seal the adapter during sterilization.
